SCRIP

The Scrip Program is designed to raise funds for the school by paying for goods and services with prepaid cards.  Depending on the type of card that you purchase (ie. JC Penny or Home Depot) a varying percentage of the money you spend will go to the school.  You may choose to have your purchases aid a family of your choice or you may choose to aid the school in general.  Many parents participate in this program, as these are places that they already shop and money can be earned for the school.  Please take a look at the following forms for more information.

Resource Team

The resource team provides several opportunities for you to advertise your business at Clinton.  Become a Clinton Business Partner and see your business exposed to thousands of people as they visit or receive CCS publications.  Whether it is an ad in our home game athletic program, a banner hanging in our athletic facility, or advertisments in our bi-annual newsletter, you will get the biggest bang for your buck by joining the Clinton team.  If you are interested in any of these advertising opportunities and would like more information, please contact Michele Vigil at mvigil@ccsgoshen.org

Moms-in-Touch

Moms-in-Touch is another program designed to benefit CCS through prayer and other forms of encouragement.  Although this group focuses on the entire school body, teachers especially appreciate  the support of this group not only through prayer, but also through acts of kindness (ie. food in the teacher's lounge) and notes of encouragement throughout the year.

If you are interested in being a part of this group, please contact Sheryl Horst at shorst@ccsgoshen.org

Spring Festival & Auction

The festival committee is led by several groups of parents with many sub-committees, each with a designated leader.  Our festival committee is developing many new ideas and the opportunities to serve may vary from year to year.  For the 2009 Festival, parents were asked to donate a craft item, given the option of joining a quilt group or provide money to help purchase items for the auction, solicit donations from businesses, contribute toward a classroom auction basket, and help work at the auction.  The Festival and Auction event is a very worthwhile investment of time.  The Festival provides a large amount of financial support for the school and helps tremendously with overall expenses of the school.

If you would like more information about the Spring Festival and Auction, please contact Wil Shetler at wshetler@maplenet.net.

Volunteers

There are numerous ways for parents to get involved with CCS through volunteering.  Opportunities include serving as elementary "class moms", field trip chaperones, assisting with class parties, working as a teacher's aide, and helping with various fundraising efforts. You may contact the school office at clinton@ccsgoshen.org  for more information.
